How RepWise AI handles your account, training data, camera input, and choices.
In short: RepWise uses your camera to analyze movement and coach your workouts. Camera images and pose data stay on your device. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your personal information.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how RepWise AI (“RepWise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the RepWise AI mobile application, website, and related services (the “Services”). 2. Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you create or use an account, we may collect your email address, account identifier, authentication provider, display name, profile image, gender selection, app preferences, and similar profile details you choose to provide.
Workout and fitness information
We process information you create through the Services, such as workout plans, selected exercises, sets, repetitions, session history, form results, movement-quality signals, coach settings, goals, equipment selections, and progress history.
Camera and pose information
RepWise requires camera access for live rep counting and form analysis. Camera frames are analyzed entirely on your device using pose-detection technology. Camera images, video, and the pose landmarks derived from them are not uploaded to us or stored on our servers. Internal diagnostic tools used during development are not enabled in the production app.
Device and technical information
We and our service providers may receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Services, including device type, operating system, app version, language, network information, IP address, authentication events, and identifiers used for login, subscription status, fraud prevention, or service security. We do not include third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs in RepWise. We do not display advertising.
Purchase information
If you purchase RepWise Pro, Apple or Google processes your payment. We do not receive your full payment-card details. We and our subscription provider may receive purchase status, product, transaction, entitlement, renewal, and expiration information.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide rep counting, form feedback, voice cues, workout planning, history, and progress features;
- create, authenticate, secure, support, and delete accounts;
- save and synchronize your settings and workout records across supported devices;
- manage subscriptions and restore purchases;
- diagnose errors, prevent misuse, maintain reliability, and improve the Services;
- respond to support, privacy, and legal requests; and
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Usage.
4. Legal bases
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we process personal information on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to create your account and provide the workout, synchronization, subscription, and support features you request;
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Legal obligation: when we must keep records, respond to lawful requests, or comply with applicable law; and
- Consent: where the law requires it. You may withdraw consent through device settings or by contacting us, without affecting earlier processing.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:
- Infrastructure and authentication providers, including Supabase, and sign-in providers you select, such as Apple or Google;
- App stores and subscription services, including Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, to process and verify purchases;
- Vendors acting for us to provide hosting, delivery, security, debugging, customer support, or other operational services;
- Authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or necessary to investigate fraud or abuse; and
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
RepWise does not currently provide social posting or training-video upload features.
6. Storage and international transfers
Account and synchronized workout data is hosted through Supabase in the United States. Because Synnax Studio LTD is based in the United Kingdom and serves users internationally, your personal information may be transferred outside your country. Where UK or European transfer restrictions apply, we use an applicable legal mechanism and contractual or other safeguards required by law.
7. Data retention
We retain account and workout information while your account is active. After we receive and verify an account-deletion request, we complete deletion or de-identification of associated personal information within 30 days. Limited records may be kept longer where reasonably required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, tax or financial reporting, or to document fulfillment of your request. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until overwritten through normal backup cycles.
8. Your choices and rights
You may update certain profile and app settings in RepWise. You can control camera, photo-library, and notification permissions through your device settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding your personal information, and to appeal or complain to a regulator.
You can permanently delete your account by following the email request process on our account deletion page. We may verify account ownership and will complete a verified request within 30 days. Deletion cannot be undone. UK and EEA users may also complain to their local data-protection authority; UK users can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and row-level account isolation for stored user data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong password and protect access to your device and account.
10. Children
RepWise is rated for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and delete the information. Users who are minors under local law should use RepWise only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
11. Website and cookies
Our public website does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and security events to deliver and protect the website.
12. Health and safety
Workout and form information is provided for fitness and informational purposes. RepWise is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional coaching, physical therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy as the Services or law changes. We will post the revised Policy here and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app or as required by law.
